Nursery 2025-2026

Our Nursery superstars have made the best start to the year. Mrs Hillary is our teacher (and also our SENDCo) and we are supported by Miss Robson. Miss Wardle also supports us Monday to Wednesday and she's working hard with us to develop brilliant language and communication skills, using her experience as a speech and language therapist.

Important information

- We have a music session every Friday with Durham Music Service.

- Please ensure all children have a pair of wellies, clearly labelled, that remain in school.

- Please ensure children have a clearly labelled warm coat and water bottle every day.

- We get very messy in nursery, please bring in spare clothes incase we need to change.

- If your child requires their nappy changed, please ensure they have plenty of nappies/wipes/bags.

Meet the staff

Mrs Hillary

Hello! I am Mrs Hillary. I have been at Catchgate since September 2024 and I am also the SENDCo of the school too. I live in Consett with my husband and my 2 boys who are aged 13 and 6. I love going on walks and adventures with my family. I like visiting the beach and I also love baking!

Miss Wardle

Hello! I am Miss Wardle. I have been at Catchgate since September 2025. I am a qualified speech and language therapist and can't want to get to know all the children and families at Catchgate!

Miss Robson

Hello! I am Miss Robson. I used to be a student here at Catchgate and now I'm a qualified teaching assistant. In my spare time, I like to go on walks and spend time with my friends.
